Adventures in Reading: Making progress

Recently we were trying to get organized by getting rid of papers no longer worth keeping. Some of the documents were no longer relevant, but other import/repeats records were inaccessible in the piles of neglected ‘stuff.’ The good news is that we have made progress with our discarding and organizing! However, this blog is not intended to motivate spring house cleaning.

PHS boys’ wrestling wins 2025 CKL title

The Pratt High School Boys’ Wrestling team recently wrapped up their regular season with the annual Central Kansas League Tournament. This tournament featured the best wrestlers from each school in the conference, and Pratt was able to prevail with a team championship and multiple individual titles. This year, the contest was held in Hesston on Thursday, February 13.

Bailey is new owner of Rick’s

Leanah Bailey, new owner and manager of Rick’s Restaurant just west of Pratt on US Highway 54 loves feeding people. Even though there have been some bumps in her start as a restaurant owner in the past week, she couldn’t be happier about this new place she is at in her life.
