Recently we were trying to get organized by getting rid of papers no longer worth keeping. Some of the documents were no longer relevant, but other import/repeats records were inaccessible in the piles of neglected ‘stuff.’ The good news is that we have made progress with our discarding and organizing! However, this blog is not intended to motivate spring house cleaning.
The Pratt High School Boys’ Wrestling team recently wrapped up their regular season with the annual Central Kansas League Tournament. This tournament featured the best wrestlers from each school in the conference, and Pratt was able to prevail with a team championship and multiple individual titles. This year, the contest was held in Hesston on Thursday, February 13.
There was a red-carpet entrance and special door princesses at the Barron Red Carpet Club Free Movie Night on Thursday, February 6 in Pratt. It was a special celebration to thank donors who have supported the Barron Theatre, Youth Core Ministries, and The Store Next Door.

Members of the Pratt Presbyterian Church shared their abundance in Super Bowl fun earlier this month with a food drive on Super Bowl Sunday. Each item of food donated to the Pratt Food Bank was considered a vote for the favorite team.

The draft plan falls under a federal program that has under previous administrations traditionally opened doors to significant financial backing for water conservation projects.

A free screening clinic for children from birth-to-5 will be held in Pratt to help parents determine if their child’s development is age-appropriate. The screening is planned for Friday, February 21st at the Pratt First United Methodist Church, 100 N. Jackson St. Appointments are necessary so appropriate screening can be accomplished.
