The Board of Education of Unified School District 350 St. John-Hudson met in special session at 11:30 a.m. Monday January 20, 2025 to consider a lease purchase agreement. The meeting was called to order by Derek Foote.

Blood Pressure Clinic will be held the second Monday of each month from 10-11 a.m. Karen Brown Soden, ARNP, will be present to assist with the clinic. Walk-ins are always welcome. All ages. The next clinic is March 10 at the Sunflower Senior Center in St. John.

Topeka, Kan. – As Kansas faces yet another round of winter weather, it is a good time to rethink some simple steps to prevent home damage from the ice and snow.
On Saturday, February 15, the Regional Science Olympiad was held at Fort Hays State University. This contest is a regional tournament that is open to teams from the northwestern part of the state. There are two divisions, middle and high school. Science Olympiad is an international organization that aims to improve science education and encourage students to pursue careers in science. It has four levels of competition: Invitationals, Regionals, State, and Nationals. The top scorers in each event receive prizes and scholarships.
The 2025 Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge is in the books. Stafford County Economic Development hosted the event today at the Stafford County Annex. Six different business concepts were submitted. Nine Students from Tabra Ward’s class at St. John - Hudson Tigers USD 350 participated. Students competed for a chance to win cash prizes with the winner getting to go to the Kansas Entrepreneur Challenge in Manhattan April 16th and 17th.
