“As above, sow below,” a specially-commissioned painting to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Vernon Filley Art Museum, was unveiled by artist Laura Krusemark last Saturday at the museum on Jackson Street in Pratt.Krusemark expertly painted blue skies, ripe wheat, white clouds, star flowers, distant trees, a halo of golden sun - elements of southcentral Kansas beauty and combined these with a Native American girl to create the embodiment of connection between above and below.
