The Pratt Area Humane Society is closing in on the end of a gently used shoe drive that will benefit local animals in the shelter.PAHS Director Jackie Folkers and staff have collected more than than 60 bags of shoes (25 pairs in each) but are hoping to reach 100 bags, which is 2500 pairs of shoes by the end of June.According to Folkers, an organization called Funds2OrgsGroup will pay cash for gently used, worn, or new shoes that are collected in large amounts.
