
Honor Flight veterans stop in Pratt
A large contingent of Pratt Presbyterian Church members showed up to offer well-wishes to 15 Western Kansas military servicemen who were boarding a bus as part of #98 Kansas Honor Flight.The church’s parking lot was a pick up point for veteran Dale Stephenson (Korean War) and his son-in-law Pat Stanley.Many supportive signs, banners, and United States flags flew in the Kansas wind during the Pratt stop.Veterans passing through Pratt on their way to the Eisenhower Regional Airport in Wichita were from Garden City, Syracuse, Johnson City, Oakley, Hoxie, Colby, Grainfield, and Park, Kansas.The City of Pratt Fire Department was also on hand to wish the veterans well on their honorary journey to Washington, D.C.
