Owners of two southcentral Kansas farms attended the Market of Farms at the Kansas Farm Bureau Building in Manhattan on Saturday, November 12 to share their locally produced products with a wider audience. The purpose of the event was to feature products grown by Kansas Farms. The products offered by these local producers are also available for Christmas shoppers.
TOPEKA - The Kansas Department of Transportation’s KanDrive website is now also available to download as an App on Android and iOS (iPhone Operating System) cell phones. KanDrive provides travelers across the state timely details on maintenance and construction activities, winter highway conditions, flooded roadways, incidents and crashes affecting traffic.
The Kiowa County Senior Center was abuzz with activity on Monday as Christmas decorations were brought out and volunteers worked on placing them around the center. Plenty of visiting took place and all was accompanied by pianists practicing their Christmas tunes. All seniors in the area are invited to come enjoy daily fellowship and meals at the center.
