Fayetteville, Ark. – The Pratt Community College cross country team traveled to Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday, September 30th for the 34th Annual Chile Pepper Festival. The men’s team competed in the 8K with the women competing in the 5K.

Training Center (FLETC) concluded their two-week Use of Force Instructor Training Program today at the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC). The program provided the attending officers with foundational information and skills to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate others making critical decisions related to using force.

Grasshoppers have to be about the ugliest creatures I know with their bulging eyes, grinding chompers, scritching legs and awkward bodies. I like them about as much as I like big crowds, which isn’t much. I realize they are a necessary part of the food chain, much like big crowds of people who all seem to know each other are part of life. It’s not at all my intention to compare grasshoppers to the recent Pratt Jam weekend but since that is what is on my mind, that’s what comes out.
