In 1999, my son and I were in that theater and I will never forget the expressions on the faces of the British people as they watched.

Saints in Pratt, Kansas “On the evening of the twenty-first of September 1823, I betook myself to prayer and supplication of Almighty God”... “While I was thus in the act of calling upon God, I discovered a light appearing in my room, which continued to increase until the room was lighter than noonday, when immediately a personage appeared at my bedside, standing in the air, for his feet did not touch the floor.” (1) So begins the history of the coming forth of The Book Of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, as later recorded by the then 18 year old Joseph Smith, living on a rural farmstead in upstate New York.

Small Town Curves at 300 S. Main in Pratt is a full service bridal salon that offers bridal gowns, bridesmaids and mothers gowns and tuxedos. A special runway show on Sunday afternoon at the Pratt Community College proved that this oasis of a clothing store in south-central Kansas has a lot to offer younger ladies by the way of homecoming dresses and special occasion finery.
