Beautiful sunsets, rainbows and cloud formations have topped the skies over South-central Kansas of late, like this sunset from last week. Some rain has fallen in small amounts, but nothing to stop the dry weather and daily heat from taking it’s toll as the area remains under drought warnings.

Pratt City Fire Chief David Kramer, joined by firemen Mac Calloway, Eric Welch, Justin Garrett and a few others throughout the morning, rang the bell at 8:46 a.m.
