Clothing projects reveal 4-H skills in clothing construction and buymanship

The 2022 Pratt County Fair 4-H Fashion Show was held this year on July 15 in the air conditioned Pratt Area 4-H Center. The fashion revue consisted of three divisions: Clothing Construction, Girls Clothing Buymanship, and Boys Clothing Buymanship. In order to be rewarded in these divisions, participants had to “1. Model in the Public Revue. 2. Submit a cost per wear form (purchased garments only). 3. Display constructed garments at the Pratt County Fair.” There were three divisions divided by age level and labeled as Junior Level (ages 7-10), Intermediate Level (ages 11-13), and Senior Level (ages 14 and older).

Northwestern releases new strategic plan

Northwestern Oklahoma State University officials have released the new strategic plan, “Success Lives Here,” that will guide the university in its endeavors for the next five years. The University’s renewed strategic plan establishes goals and directions for the next five years that recognize and respond to the impact of an unstable economy, an ever-evolving employment market, and changing expectations for higher education institutions.

Emma Stimatze named to the Dean’s List at Palmer College of Chiropractic

DAVENPORT, IA (07/25/2022)-- Emma Stimatze of Macksville, Kansas has been named to the spring 2022 Dean’s List at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Main campus in Davenport, Iowa. Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and largest college in the chiropractic profession, has campuses in Davenport, Iowa; San Jose, California; and Port Orange, Florida.
