City police release activity data

For the week of June 20th - June 26th, your Pratt Police Department responded to and investigated the following: 70 calls for service, resulting in 13 Misdemeanor and 2 Felony investigations, making 4 arrests. Officers responded to 5 traffic collisions and conducted 146 traffic stops. Additionally, 2 officers attended court hearings.

Kincheloe’s hosts worldwide visitors, facilitates local ag tour

Kincheloe’s Inc. was honored to promote Kansas agriculture and facilitate visits to Pratt County farmers with 15 AGCO engineering, sales and production management representatives last month. On June 14, individuals from the United States, Germany, Italy, Brazil and South Africa stopped by the Kincheloe’s business at 10517 N. Hwy. 281, Pratt, where sales manager Eugene Stotts served as a local host and tour guide for agriculture representatives wanting to see modern farm equipment in use.

Stockmanship & Stewardship Clinic provide ultimate education experience for beef producers

(TOPEKA) – The Kansas Beef Council (KBC) joined together with NCBA, a contractor to the Beef Checkoff; Merck Animal Health and Kansas State University (KSU) to host a regional Stockmanship & Stewardship clinic in Leavenworth, Kansas recently. Nearly 110 producers representing 10 states across the Midwest as well as Australia registered for the three-day event.
