What words do you want to hear?

In such troubling times as these, what would be the words that you want to hear? Gasoline prices have dropped to under $2 a gallon, Covid has been eradicated, groceries prices are dropping as fast as they rose, Russia withdraws from Ukraine, a Peace Treaty has been signed by all the nations, a cure for cancer has been found, etc. All of these would sure sound good, and with it comes the visions of hope that could be restored to all of us.

Annual news journey includes July 18 stop in Pratt at N’Cahoots

WICHITA, Kansas (KSNW) -- KSN-TV is going on their annual summer road trip, where they will be visiting communities across Kansas highlighting the great things going on across the Sunflower State. July 17-21, 2022, KSN team members will make stops in more than 20 towns throughout Kansas, traveling more than 1,000 miles to greet Kansans in each community and share stories along the way.

Community club installs new leaders

Pilot International of Pratt, Kansas is a non-profit service organization that meets twice monthly on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month with a mission to influence positive change in communities. Earlier this month the club met to elect and initiate new leaders, honoring new co-presidents Linda Broce and Tammy Killough. Gin Pelzl comes aboard as vice president and Jeanne Peters takes over as secretary. Johanna Roberts continues to serve the organization as treasurer. Four directors for the new Pilot year include Laurie Stroda, Shelley Patton, Nancy Boland, and Belinda Ward Gimpel.
