That connection is built on our understanding of God’s thinking and His spiritual influence in our lives.
If you’ve followed this column for a while, you might remember that back in 2019 I lost 100 pounds. I knew it made a difference in my life, but I am still discovering to this day, four years later, just how much it changed my life.
What’s it gonna take to change this world? When are things ever going to get back to normal? A lot of people would sure like to know that. Well I’m afraid that this new normal is here to stay at least for now but that doesn’t mean things can’t change.
The National Day of Prayer was just celebrated on May 5. A verse that always comes up at this time is 2 Chronicles 7:14. I do not think that most people know the circumstances surrounding this verse. The Southwest 4-H made Linus blankets in honor of Kendrix Crow who is a former member of the Southwest 4-H club. Each year the club usually makes four blankets to be donated to the Children’s Hospital in in Wichita.
