Health fund announces Faith in Vaccines campaign

Communications Officer United Methodist Health Ministry Fund The United Methodist Health Ministry Fund (Health Fund) is launching a “Faith in Vaccines” campaign to promote COVID-19 vaccination and help ensure Kansas families are as prepared and protected as possible against emerging COVID-19 variants. The campaign will run from late April through mid-May and will focus on reaching rural Kansans and parents of children ages 5–17.

Here’s to Easter, weekly menus, birthdays and 10 years

Thank you to the Kiowa County Ministerial Alliance for sponsoring our Easter Meal at the center on Good Friday! It was a great day, with good friends, good food, and good fellowship! April birthdays were celebrated last week at the senior center for Monday, May 2: Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes w/gravy, Tuesday, May 3: Meatloaf, Broccoli, Fruit Cocktail, Roll Wednesday, May 4: Taco Salad, Corn, Pears, Tortilla Chips Thursday, May 5: BBQ Chicken Breast, Mac & Cheese, Vegetable, Fruit, Roll Friday, May 6: Chef Salad, Cool Corn Salad, Diced Pears, Crackers Please keep in mind the menu is subject to change. Cheers to TEN years! It’s kind of hard to believe that we have been open 10 years! In honor of that, we are going to have a PARTY on May 4 from 2-4 p.m.
