A team of senior students planned out a career fair for St. John-Hudson High School. The team of students was included Bailee Hudson, keynote speaker Kansas State Department of Education School Board member Jean Clifford, Nevaeh Fischer, Isaac Torres, Jessie Duran, Nicholas Huston, Christian Trevino, Cassandra Long, Karim Herrera, Ryan Eulenstein, and Corey Blue and teacher Joanna McAlister.
As part of the western response to Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, several regimes acted on February 26 to exclude certain Russian banks from the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) network. As of March 1, Reuters reports, SWIFT says it’s awaiting a list of the sanctioned banks so that it can cut them off.

At their February 7 meeting, Pratt City Commissioners approved the use of Lemon Park for a children’s fair coming in April. The request to use the park was brought by leaders of the Pratt County Alliance for Drug Endangered Children: Joy Schwartz of DCCCA, Inc., Pam Ford of the Pratt Hope Center, and Terri Liggett from the Pratt School System (USD 382).
